Players or roster moves with CONFIRMED status have been publicly announced by their teams, on Twitter, or other forms of media.
Players or roster moves with RUMOR status have been discussed extensively in the media. For example, if Jacob Hale, CDL Scrim Intel, CDCIntel, or The Ghost of Hope has reported on a player move, or if a proposed team has been widely discussed on Dope Check or The Flank, these would be classified as rumors.
Key terms:
Free Agent (FA): A player who has not signed a contract and is eligible to join any team in the league or in Challengers. This includes players who have been released from their teams.
Restricted Free Agent (RFA) or Restricted: A player who is currently contracted to or whose rights are owned by another team in the league or in Challengers. A team owns these players’ rights but they have been allowed to explore their options with other teams via transfer or trade mechanisms.
Retired: This player has retired and will no longer be playing in the Call of Duty League or Challengers.
