Envoy is widely expected to be joining the LA Thieves this offseason with Thomas “Scrap” Ernst and Paco “HyDra” Rusiewiez to join forces with Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe. After a season of rebuilding in Modern Warfare 3, this lineup would throw them back into Championship contention.
This move would result in the return of the Dark Prince. Envoy previously played under the LA Thieves banner for two seasons, including winning COD Champs during Call of Duty Vanguard. The move to Toronto was highly regarded, giving Scrap another piece to help win championships. While the team would win Major 1 to begin the season, they would only reach one more Grand Finals during Major 3 and ended the year with a Top 8 finish at the Esports World Cup.
Individually, Envoy played well during his lone season at Ultra. He finished the season with a 0.99 overall KD with a 77.8 Slayer Rating. He was at his best during the Esports World Cup, ending the tournament with a 1.14 KD, 90.4 Slayer Rating, and 1.50 SND KD.
