There are 12 Mastery camos in Modern Warfare 3, each with its own set of Challenges. With 36 total new weapons in Modern Warfare 3, the came grind is real this season. The Interstellar Camo is one of the hardest to unlock, requiring players to do a total of seven challengers for three other camos for all 36 Modern Warfare 3 weapons before unlocking.
To begin, players must unlock the Gilded Camo for each of the 36 Modern Warfare 3 weapons. To unlock the Gilded Camo, players have to complete 4 challenges and level up the weapon to a certain amount. The challenges range from getting a certain amount of kills to how you have to get those kills like in ADS or Tac Stance. The challenges require players to change their playstyles in each game in order to complete the challenges focused on varying aspects of multiplayer.
Once Gilded is unlocked, the next objective for Interstellar is to unlock the Forged Camo for each of the 36 Modern Warfare 3 weapons. This camo requires players to have the Gilded Camo for every weapon in the weapon category and complete one additional challenge per weapon. The challenges again vary, each focusing on a different aspect of the multiplayer experience.
The final task to do is to unlock the Priceless Camo for every single weapon. The process for the Priceless Camo is very similar to the Forged Camo. Players will have to unlock Forged for every weapon in a weapon category and complete one additional challenge per weapon. This time the challenges are harder to complete, requiring a higher level of performance from the player. Examples are 5 Kills without dying 10 times, 5 kills with 1 magazine 10 times, and 25 Kills while enemies are affected by your tactical while using Akimbo while using a WSP Stinger.
After completing each of the three camos for every single weapon that is new to MW3, Interstellar will be unlocked. This camo will take a lot of time and patience but will be extremely rewarding to complete. Good luck and have fun grinding for Interstellar!
