Major 1 in Madrid has concluded, ending with Atlanta FaZe hoisting the trophy. In the first European LAN since the beginning of the Call of Duty League, fans got to witness a Game 7, Round 11 Grand Finals. The tournament will surely go down as one of the best in the history of the League.

Therefore, the conclusion of the event calls for the third edition week of the Breaking Point Power Rankings. Here we'll break the next match for each team next weekend. Here is how the BreakingPoint team ranks each of the teams at the current moment.

How the teams are ranked: The writers, stats team, and content team at Breaking Point were polled to rate each of the 12 teams β€” putting more weight on recency instead of the entire season. Since there have only been two weeks of play, the team was assigned to rank the teams going into the Minor. Each ranks the teams 1st through 12th. After collecting the rankings from the BP team, each team would be given points for each vote, as seen below:

1st – 11 points
2nd – 10 points
3rd – 9 points
4th – 8 points
5th – 7 points
6th – 6 points
7th – 5 points
8th – 4 points
9th – 3 points
10th – 2 points
11th – 1 point
12th – 0 points

The Breaking Point Power Ranking

Previous Ranking: January 28th, 2025

1st: Atlanta FaZe

12-3 Record (80%), 40-23 Map Count (63%), 170 CDL points (1st Seed)
Roster: aBeZy - Cellium - Drazah - Simp
Previous Ranking: 2nd (Up 1 Spot)

Next Match: Friday - February 14th at 6:00 pm EST vs Vancouver Surge

After stumbling in the opening weekends of the season, FaZe has been dominant. Their Hardpoint & SND form has improved greatly, powering them to a 12-series win streak that includes the Major 1 Championship victory over Thieves. Now, it's back to square one for the Major 2 qualifier. They'll take on a new-look Surge team that is rumored to be adding in Travis "Neptune" McCloud.

2nd: Los Angeles Thieves

8-5 Record (62%), 34-24 Map Count (59%), 125 CDL points (2nd Seed)
Roster: Envoy - Ghosty - HyDra - Scrap
Previous Ranking: 4th (Up 2 Spots)

Next Match: Friday - February 14th at 6:00 pm EST vs Carolina Royal Ravens

The Thieves were always going to be one of the best teams in the Call of Duty League, so it should be no surprise that they found themselves in the Grand Finals at Major 1. Even though they weren't able to get over the hump, they improved greatly over the course of the season so far. They'll start the Major 2 Qualifiers with a tough test, going against Thomas "TJHaly" Haly and the Carolina Royal Ravens in the last match on Friday.

3rd: OpTic Texas

9-4 Record (69%), 34-23 Map Count (60%), 85 CDL points (5th Seed)
Roster: Dashy - Kenny - Pred - Shotzzy
Previous Ranking: 1st (Down 2 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - February 15th at 6:00 pm EST vs Atlanta FaZe

After a great online stage from Texas, they struggled at the LAN. The squad only managed a Top 8 finish after losses to Miami Heretics (Winners Round 1, 2-3 Loss) and Carolina Royal Ravens (Losers Round 2, 1-3 Loss). After the tournament, OpTic shocked the scene by removing Cuyler "Huke" Garland in favor of Amer "Pred" Zulbeari. They'll take on the Major 1 Champions Atlanta FaZe in their first match back, which may be the match in which FaZe tries to break the longest win streak record.

4th: Carolina Royal Ravens

10-5 Record (67%), 36-28 Map Count (56%), 115 CDL points (3rd Seed)
Roster: Gwinn - SlasheR - TJHaly - Vivid
Previous Ranking: 6th (Up 2 Spots)

Next Match: Friday - February 14th at 6:00 pm EST vs LA Thieves

Carolina continues to defy expectations this season. After making the Finals of the Minor 1 Tournament, the Royal Ravens made it to Sunday and finished 4th at the opening Major. While they fell to the Heretics in the end, Carolina has been a consistent force this season, both online and at LAN. They'll have a tough start to the next stage, however, as they open with a match against the LA Thieves on Friday.

5th: Miami Heretics

5-8 Record (38%), 26-31 Map Count (46%), 80 CDL points (6th Seed)
Roster: Lucky - MettalZ - ReeaL - RenKoR
Previous Ranking: 9th (Up 4 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - February 15th at 4:30 pm EST vs Minnesota Rokkr

In their home country, the Miami Heretics made a surprise run to third place in the first Major LAN of the season. It wasn't an easy path though, as they took down OpTic Texas, Minnesota Rokkr, and the Carolina Royal Ravens in their run. Ultimately, many need to see this level of play consistently before ranking the Heretics higher on the list. They'll have their first chance to show it against the Minnesota Rokkr this weekend.

6th: Toronto Ultra

7-4 Record (64%), 26-20 Map Count (57%), 90 CDL points (4th Seed)
Roster: Beans - CleanX - Insight - JoeDeceives
Previous Ranking: 3rd (Down 3 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - February 15th at 7:30 pm EST vs Cloud9 New York

Ultra has had an up-and-down season thus far. While they performed well in the Major 1 Qualifiers, the team fell early during both the Minor and Major tournaments. They did lose to both Atlanta & Carolina in Madrid though, giving hope that they just lost to two strong teams. Their first chance at redemption will be against Cloud9 New York in the last match on Saturday night.

7th: Minnesota RØKKR

6-7 Record (46%), 29-31 Map Count (48%), 60 CDL points (7th Seed)
Roster: Estreal - Gio - Nero - PaulEhx
Previous Ranking: 10th (Up 3 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - February 15th at 4:30 pm EST vs Miami Heretics

Behind their young guns, the Rokkr continue to make waves in the CDL and show that they are here to stay. The squad managed to finish Top 6 at the Major, in which Giovanni "Gio" Webster earned an OPAL Award for his performances. The Rokkr do need to find a way to start the series off on a better foot, as going to Game 5s every match isn't the path to consistency. On Saturday night, Minnesota will take on the Miami Heretics in their opening match of Stage 2.

8th: Boston Breach

5-5 Record (50%), 21-24 Map Count (47%), 50 CDL points (8th Seed)
Roster: Cammy - Owakening - Purj - Snoopy
Previous Ranking: 5th (Down 3 Spots)

Next Match: Friday - February 14th at 4:30 pm EST vs Vegas Falcons

The Breach fell early at Major 1, finishing Top 12 after back-to-back losses to New York & Atlanta. It came as a shock, due to the strong play in the qualifiers. This has resulted in Breach having another life, going into the next stage with the same roster. They'll open up with a match against the Vegas Falcons to get back on track.

9th: Cloud9 New York

3-8 Record (27%), 19-27 Map Count (41%), 25 CDL points (10th Seed)
Roster: Attach - Kremp - Mack - Sib
Previous Ranking: 11th (Up 2 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - February 15th at 7:30 pm EST vs Toronto Ultra

Cloud9 New York saw a bit of form return at the Major. Notably, Daunte "Sib" Gray returned to the past for their short tournament run. They are a team that is in need of wins & CDL points though, as they are currently the 10th seed this season with just 25 CDL points. They face tough opposition in the Toronto Ultra on Saturday to start the Stage 2 run.

10th: Los Angeles Guerrillas M8

2-7 Record (22%), 17-21 Map Count (45%), 20 CDL points (11th Seed)
Roster: KiSMET - Lynz - Priestahh - Skyz
Previous Ranking: 8th (Down 2 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - February 15th at 3:00 pm EST vs Boston Breach

The Guerrillas M8 squad is the hardest to place in the entire CDL. They keep matches close but haven't been able to close out the series. Their 2-7 is terrible, giving them just 20 CDL points and the 11th seed in the season standings. This will be the most important stage of the season for them, as they must turn it around quickly. Starting with the Boston Breach on Saturday, the LA team will need to start stacking wins.

11th: Vancouver Surge

4-6 Record (40%), 18-25 Map Count (42%), 40 CDL points (11th Seed)
Roster: O4 - abuzah - Nastie
Previous Ranking: 7th (Down 4 Spots)

Next Match: Friday - February 14th at 6:00 pm EST vs Atlanta FaZe

The Surge haven't managed to find their form so far this season. They sit at a 4-6 record on the year, which nets them the 11th seed this season. This has resulted in a change of the lineup, as Charlie "Hicksy" Hicks has been removed and reportedly Travis "Neptune" McCloud will take his place. They have a hard first match though, as Vancouver will take on Atlanta FaZe on Friday evening.

12th: Vegas Falcons

0-9 Record (0%), 4-27 Map Count (13%), 0 CDL points (12th Seed)
Roster: D7oomx - Exnid - KiinG - WXSL
Previous Ranking: 12th (Unchanged)

Next Match: Friday - February 14th at 4:30 pm EST vs Boston Breach

The Falcons haven't been able to get on the board just yet this season. While they fight in Search & Destroys, their respawn play has been far below the required level. They have continued to make moves as well, moving Fahad "WXSL" Alkahtani back into the starting lineup in place of Salman "Roxas" Alkhuzayyim. With another new starting lineup, they'll take on the Boston Breach on Friday, aiming to win their first series of the young season.
