CDL Team Agreement Update
The appears that the death of the CDL has been greatly exaggerated, as the League has come to a new agreement with the franchises. After five years, Activision will be waiving all franchise dues, returning any payments that were made, and giving teams $2 million back to help inject capital back into the League. The agreement prolongs the Call of Duty League at least two more seasons and betters the health of each of the franchises. While it's not going to make the CDL perfect, it puts the League back on the path toward what we all want.

The Toronto and New York drop-off
Big 4 this, Big 4 that but is it really the case? Atlanta has been on fire as of late, while Texas is 19-2 this season against any team that doesn't have 5-foot demons on the SMGs. While those two teams have thrived, Toronto and New York have faltered.
Toronto finished Top 4 at Major 2, losing to both Texas and New York. They regrouped against LAG to start the current qualifiers but looked shaky in the victory against Miami. That all led to one the worst spankings of the season, as Atlanta smoked the Ultra 3-0 in humiliating fashion.
New York on the other hand has decided to take a qualifier off. They had a disaster weekend, falling to Carolina and Seattle in shocking performances. While individually they have good numbers, the team just hasn't looked great and the results have corresponded. They are 7th in the qualifier standings and looks like they might sink even lower with a match against Atlanta coming next weekend.

OpTic hosting Champs
Rumors have swirled around the location of Champs all season, but now we finally have the one true location. Champs will be heading to Dallas, as OpTic Texas will be hosting the playoffs.
Some have pointed out that having a home-field advantage is unfair to the other teams, but the Greenwall travels strong and OpTic will surely host an incredible event. Do you think the CDL made the right move hosting Champs in Texas?
