How to play

1. Join the active queue in the #︱open-queue channel using the “join” button. The Bot will create a new channel for players to complete drafting and do vetoes once eight players have joined.

2. Once the queue is filled, two captains will be randomly selected. The two captains will then alternate picking players and doing map vetoes to set the best of 3 series. The Bot will then move each team into their own discord voice channel in which they will use to communicate in their upcoming match.

3. The Bot will also randomly select a player to host the match. If all players agree, they can choose a new host if they are better for everyone in the lobby. If an agreement cannot be completed, players must then use the host that the Bot randomly selected.

4. Players will then play the match in-game, and once a team wins two maps they will report the winner inside of the channel for their queue, the same channel that they did the draft and vetoes in at the beginning.

General Rules

  1. Maximum Effort: You must give maximum effort in matches. If you enter the queue and get a match, you must play out the match. Players who don’t do this are ruining the experience for the other 7 players in the match and will be penalized.

    1. Players who don’t try in matches will be a 24-hour timeout.

    2. Players who leave matches before they are done will be given a 24-hour ban the first time, then a 7-day ban for the second offense.

  2. Don’t be toxic: Players who go overboard with messages or speaking will be banned. You are not allowed to be overly toxic, and those who cross the line will be given a time-out.

    1. Overly toxic messages will be given a 24-hour ban the first time, then a 7-day ban for the second offense.

    2. Any misogynistic messages will be given a 7-day ban.

    3. Any racist messages will be given a 7-day ban.

    4. Any messages with slurs will be given a permanent ban, it doesn’t matter the circumstance so do not use slurs period.

  3. You must communicate in matches: Players are required to communicate with their teammates in matches. You are not allowed to mute your mic or deafen in the discord.

    1. In the first match we find players not communicating, they will be given a 1-hour timeout.

    2. The second offense will be a 24-hour timeout.

    3. Multiple offenses will result in a 7-day timeout.

  4. You cannot cancel matches unless there is an issue with the bot: Players who refuse to play in matches will be given bans. You can not cancel matches just to play with your friends or because you don’t like your teammates.

    1. Players who refuse to play will be given a 10-minute timeout the first time

    2. Players who queue dodge multiple times will be given a 24-hour timeout

    3. Four infractions within a month will result in a 1-week timeout or permanent ban from the server.

  5. Games must begin within 10 minutes: Once teams are drafted, matches must begin within 10 minutes. Players who cause delays will be noted and given reprimands after multiple incidents. If you join the queue, be ready to play the match, meaning do not join the queue and leave for a long time. Breaks in between matches must not be longer than 10 minutes as well. This isn’t a 2k tournament so play, have fun, and try not to torch.

  6. Breaking GAs or Rules results in a reset: GAs & game rules are listed below. Breaking any will result in a map replay. If a player is found to be purposely breaking the GAs or game rules they will be given a 24-hour timeout.

    1. If you have proof that an item was used that is against GAs or the rules, it must be replayed right away. If you start playing the next map, you can no longer replay the previous map.

  7. Game crashes will be replays unless across a certain threshold:

    1. Maps will be replayed if no team is across the 200-point barrier and both teams are within 80 points.

    2. If there is an 80+ point lead and both teams are under 200 points when the player on the losing team lags out of the match, the match is ruled final.

    3. If a team is above 200 points and a player disconnects from the map, the map must continue until there is a winner. If the lobby drops, whoever is in the lead will take the victory. If the match is tied when the lobby drops, replay the map.

    4.  In SND or Control, if a crash happens the round will be played out and ended. Once the round is over, the game can be reset with the round count post-crash.

  8. Be nice to staff: The staff are all volunteers who are giving their free time to help keep these servers running. Attacking them in any manner will be a bannable offense. That includes messages, voice channels, and social media. If you don’t agree with a ruling, you can politely start a ticket and we can readdress the issue.

  9. PC resets and monitor cams are available by request: If you alert a staff member before the match begins that you want a suspected opponent to do a PC reset or monitor cam, we will require players to do so. If players avoid this by refusing or doing a false monitor cam will be subject to a PC check from one of our specialists. Refusal to do so will result in a server ban.

  10. Killcams must be on in our matches: Unlike CDL rules, we require killcams to be on to help fight cheaters.

  11. No smurfs are allowed on the server: You cannot make a second account to play on the server. Please use your main.

*These rules can be subject to change at any moment. Please bear with us as we try to perfect our ruleset for the future.
