Temp & Attach Reveal Their Top 30 Call of Duty Players of All Time by Gunskill
In a throwback-style conversation that has the competitive Call of Duty community buzzing, veteran pros Donny "Temp" Laroda and Dillon "Attach" Price recently revealed their personal list of the Top 30 Players in Call of Duty history based solely on raw gunskill, not trophies or team achievements, just pure mechanics and accuracy. From all-time legends to new-age slayers, the duo’s rankings span multiple eras of Call of Duty esports dating back to Black Ops 2.
Scump Tops the List
At the top of the rankings sits none other than Seth "Scump" Abner, a name synonymous with elite gunskill for over a decade. Known for his fast reaction time and consistent slaying dominance in the SMG role for years, Scump’s taking the top spot was one of the few points the community seemed to universally agree on.
"Everyone talking about the rankings that are wrong but I’d just like to say that Scump 1 is easily correct even just for gunskill." — /u/Fixable
Rounding out the top five were Matthew "FormaL" Piper, Chris "Simp" Lehr, Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez, and Brandon "Dashy" Otell, a mix of AR and SMG talents who have terrorized opponents with their slaying ability across multiple titles.

Modern Stars and Legends Collide
The list features a compelling mix of veterans and modern CDL stars. Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris and Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro, both known for their high-octane pace and SND dominance, landed at #6 and #7, respectively, while McArthur "Cellium" Jovel, Cuyler "Huke" Garland, and Sam "Octane" Larew rounded out the top 10. Longtime icons and consensus Top 7 All-Time Players overall like Ian "Crimsix" Porter (#11), James "Clayster" Eubanks (#14), and Damon "Karma" Barlow (#24) all made the cut, but their placements didn’t come without debate.

"Abezy above Crim feels insane, Crim was so unbelievably talented early in his career that his nickname was literally 'the crim-bot'" — /u/TheRealPdGaming
Surprise Rankings
There were some eyebrow-raising inclusions and placements. While Karma not breaking into the top 20 at #24 raised the most questions, multiple other placements started debates. ZooMaa, Gunless, and Attach (who notably ranked himself at #16) each started debates on their placements, whether too high or too low. Fans debated on if the list should've been divided up into position lists for ARs & SMGs, or if it should be divided by the two major eras (the Open Era vs the CDL era).
Further down the list, names like Johnathan "John" Perez, Bryan "Apathy" Zhelyazkov, Patrick "ACHES" Price, and Renato "Saints" Forza stirred nostalgia, reminding fans of their mechanical dominance during earlier titles like Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3, Infinite Warfare, and WWII.
While the rankings are subjective and certainly invite criticism, there’s no denying that the Top 30 list from Temp and Attach serves as a fun tribute to the most mechanically gifted players in Call of Duty history.
