Sources: Team WaR to Sign Bink as Stand-In for Lynz Ahead of EWC
Team WaR is finalizing a roster change ahead of the Esports World Cup, with sources indicating that Deandre "Bink" Garcia will be joining the lineup as a replacement for Thomas "Lynz" Gregorio. The move comes just days before the start of the tournament, as the team looks to regroup following the sudden roster adjustment.
Lynz, who competed with Team WaR throughout the 2025 Challengers season and helped them qualify for the EWC, will reportedly not be attending the event. The reason is currently unknown, but sources have confirmed that Lynz was unable to fly to the event.

Bink, a steady talent in the Challengers scene, was rumored to potentially be helping coach the team in some capacity, making him a logical fit for the squad as they prepare for international competition.
Team WaR enters Group C of the Esports World Cup, facing CDL teams Boston Breach and Movistar KOI, as well as regional favorite Team Falcons. With Bink stepping into the lineup, the team will look to be a throne in the side and net some shocking upsets. Fans can watch the squad on July 24th at 11:00 AM EST in their opening match against the Boston Breach.
