Sources: Lqgend dropped from Surge
EDIT: The Vancouver Surge have announced the benching of Lqgend and have stated that he will compete in NA Challengers moving forward.
The Vancouver Surge is set to make a significant roster change just two weeks into the official season due to disappointing performances during the opening weekends. Team management believes they cannot allow this lack of performance to continue.
The Surge took a considerable risk by bringing in Halo world champion Kaci "Lqgend" Sabri, but the switch has not worked out as planned. While they anticipated some initial challenges, they expected to see improvements by now, especially two months into scrimmages. Unfortunately, there has been very little progress from the French player, who may have been given this opportunity before he was fully ready.

The Surge still believes that one day Legend can become an elite Call of Duty player, but some time on the bench and in Challengers could be just what he needs right now. The team cannot afford to wait, making this seem like the best solution for everyone involved.
The team now has its sights set on 18-year-old German player Alluka, who had a breakout tournament with OMiT Brooklyn. The move could be hampered by a buyout with OMiT, though, so the Canadian organization is also looking into other options. One option would be Telluride Bush's Thomas "TJHaLy" Haly.
