Sources: Boston Retains Core, Eyes Nastie as Key Pickup
Boston Breach is holding onto its core roster after a strong season, in which the franchise won $430,000 in prize money over the course of the season.
Having parted ways with Joseph "Owakening" Conley following the Esports World Cup, the franchise was on the lookout for a new fourth. The organization is now targeting a new Flex player to boost consistency, with former Vancouver Surge standout Byron “Nastie” Plumridge emerging as the frontrunner.

Sources confirm that Miami inquired about acquiring Boston’s franchise star, Eric "Snoopy" Pérez, though talks never advanced. Keeping Snoopy together with Evan "Purj" Perez was a priority this offseason. Boston, believed to have stabilized financially over the past year, is now in a position to aggressively pursue Nastie after his breakout CDL campaign. His 2024 season included four grand finals appearances, plus runs to both Champs and the Esports World Cup.
If completed, the Breach lineup would feature a Black Ops 7 roster of:
○ Cameron "Cammy" McKilligan
○ Byron “Nastie” Plumridge
○ Eric "Snoopy" Pérez
○ Evan "Purj" Perez
○ Sean "Seany" O'Connor (Head Coach)
○ Mike "Magxck" Libeccio (Asistant Coach)
