Official Black Ops 7 Competitive Map Set
The competitive map set for the Black Ops 7 season is officially locked in, giving players & fans a clear look at the battlegrounds that will define the opening two weeks of the season. The CDL has picked a mix of fast-paced new maps and returning classics, aiming to test competitive flow across all three modes at the start of the season.

Hardpoint will feature a five-map rotation: Blackheart, Colossus, Den, Exposure, and Scar. The selection includes two smaller maps that will surely give plenty of exciting moments. Blackheart offers the most chaotic pacing of the group, while Scar and Den bring more structured rotations. The surprising move was not to include Raid in the mapset, which will be the first time in Call of Duty history that it will be the case.
Search & Destroy includes a mix of new and iconic maps as well, with Colossus, Den, Exposure, Raid, and Scar making the final cut. Raid’s return marks the biggest headline here, bringing back one of the most polished SnD maps in Call of Duty history. Its inclusion will most likely be joined by other remakes after the release of Season 1, with Meltdown & Fringe being added to the game. The remaining four maps all offer fresh looks, which have all played well in the kickoff tournaments so far.
Overload, replacing Control as the third competitive mode, launches with a three-map rotation: Den, Exposure, and Scar. Each of these maps supports good pacing for the mode, having been played during the Launch Invitational & ZooMaa's Flank Invitational. With Overload making its competitive debut this season, the tighter 3-map pool should help teams master the mode more quickly.
Overall, this map set delivers a balanced foundation for the Black Ops 7 competitive year. Mixing fresh maps with a dash of remasters makes it exciting to continue learning the game as the season comes closer. As scrims start and early tournaments continue to roll in, teams will waste no time in mastering the meta on the maps for the opening weekend.
