Storylines to watch

Two Top Rookies Collide: In Week 4 of the Major 2 Qualifiers, the Seattle Surge will take on the Minnesota Rokkr. Both teams will be looking for wins to both climb the season CDL points leaderboard and possibly get into the Upper Bracket to start Major 2. With Lynz red-hot on the SMG and Abuzah back on the AR, this will be one of the best rookie matchups of the season.

New Rookies proving week: Gio & the Las Vegas Legion will take on the Boston Breach in Week 3 of the Major 2 Qualifiers. After finishing with a 1.05 KD and a 2-1 record in the first two weeks, Gio is knocking on the door to crack the Top 5 of the Rookie of the Year Ladder. Finishing the Qualifier strong & putting in a solid performance at the Major will certainly put Gio within the Top 5 and it all starts with a tilt against Snoopy & the Breach.

Seattle Surge have had a qualifier to forget, and there is still three more weeks to go. The break after Major 1 was tumultuous for the Surge, with iLLeY being benched in favor of Breszy. The move worked out well for Abuzah, bring in an old teammate and switched Abuzah from the SMG to AR role. Even with the team struggling, Abuzah currently has a 1.02 KD in Hardpoint & 1.18 in SND. In SND, the Beligan has 0.72 kills per round, 179.8 ADR, and 75.0% opening duel win rate. If the team can come together and improve throughout the stage, Abuzah should start to regain his individual form.
