The offseason for the Miami Heretics was quick & clean. They were the first team to make a move, signing a highly touted EU challenger prospect RenKoR just 5 days after the conclusion of the Esports World Cup. Just as they did in the previous offseason, Miami will enter the year with a 5-man lineup as they use the preseason to determine their back roster combination. With a mixture of veteran leaders & upcoming talent, the Heretics will have plenty of opportunities to make a strong team going into the season.

Offseason Reactions
Ronnie: "Miami being set on going the Spanish-only route for the roster often means for somewhat predictable and boring offseasons. This time they added a highly rated Spanish player from EU challengers David "RenKoR" Isern. Many expected Diego "SupeR" Escudero to also join him in Miami, but that hasn't happened. Superstar José "ReeaL" Manuel Fernández nearly left Miami for Toronto Ultra, but the two organizations couldn't come to an agreement. Since BO6 has dropped, Javier "Vikul" Milagro has been dropped to the substitute position after being replaced by David "RenKoR" Isern."
Easy Mac: “The team is committed to being Spanish-speaking, which I think is very good for the CDL. The only downside to that is the player pool for potential acquisitions is smaller and there are pre-existing relationships that could be roadblocks. With all of that in mind, the Heretics aced the offseason so far. They kept ReeaL on the roster, who had interest from the Toronto Ultra. He is one of the upcoming SMGs in the CDL and will be a major key to the Heretics' success this season. Signing RenKoR was a great move for the squad as well, as he can play multiple positions and had his best season in Challengers last year. The team has talent, it's just about putting it all together & staying consistent during the season."
Season Expectations
Ronnie: “Season expectations should be to improve on last season and make sure you actually compete on LAN from the get-go and not wait until Major 4 to get a map win. If they can improve on LAN, they could be an upset machine, catching the top teams cold and causing some big upsets.
Black Ops 6 Season Predictions
Best Placement: Top 6
Team MVP: ReeaL
Final Regular Season Seed: 9th
Will they qualify for Champs: No
Easy Mac: “I have higher expectations for Miami than most. They have a talented SMG duo in MettalZ & ReeaL. Lucky is a good leader who will keep the team motivated & playing well. While the last starting spot isn't determined yet, RenKoR has great upside and Vikul has been a proven asset. If they can get hot for streaks this season, they'll be able to get good hauls of CDL points and qualify for Champs at the end of the year."

Players to Watch in Black Ops 6
Ronnie: “If Renkor can show the slaying power he has in challengers the last two seasons, he and José "ReeaL" Manuel Fernández could be a really good slaying duo for Miami. The main reason he's replacing Javier "Vikul" Milagro was always hot and cold this past season. If RenKor can be more consistent, it'll put Miami in a good position to cause some upsets."
Easy Mac: “MettalZ is my player to watch on this roster. He was one of the best SMGs during Stage 1 of last season but cooled off during the middle of the year. Once ReeaL got going though, he showed flashes of the form he had to begin the year. With ReeaL now on the roster from the start, I fully expect this duo to blow fans' expectations out of the water early."
