The Miami Heretics have made their second roster change of the season, bringing back in Eric “EriKBooM” Ferrer to the starting roster in place of Juan “JurNii” Antonio González Muñoz.

Before the qualifier matches for Major 1 began, the Heretics moved EriKBooM to the bench to start JurNii. The change worked out well for Miami during the qualifiers, as the squad finished with a 5-2 record and secured the 4th seed going into Boston. Sadly, the team ran out of momentum and would finish Top 12 at the Major. Losses to OpTic Texas and Las Vegas Legion, both in 3-0 fashion, would derail the roster.

JurNii struggled individually, finishing with a 0.61 overall KD. He had a 0.67 KD in Hardpoint and 0.50 KD in Control, by far the worth on the squad. Juan ranked worst in the CDL in overall KD, Hardpoint KD, Control KD, Control Kills per 10 minutes (11.2), and Control Damage per 10 minutes (2475.9). After a great run in the qualifiers, the Heretics weren’t the same team on LAN.

While the main team struggled, EriKBooM finished 3rd in the Boston Open tournament with the Singapore Syndicate. In streamed matches, Eric had a 1.00 overall KD with a 1.13 KD in SND & 1.11 KD in Control.

With EriKBooM back into the starting roster, the new-look Miami Heretics will be back in action against the Atlanta FaZe on February 17th in the Major 2 Qualifiers.
