The start of Modern Warfare 3 is upon us, and with the release of the new title comes 16 maps. Each of the 16 maps are remakes of their 2009 versions, giving fans a great deal of nostalgia.
What is most interesting about the remade maps is how they will fit game modes that weren't in the original Modern Warfare 2, such as Hardpoint & Control. Below are the Hardpoint rotations for each of the maps in the new MW2, with where each side spawns to start the match.
Currently, the competitive map pool is not locked in. With the CDL starting on December 8th, professional players will be playing respawns very quickly after the game launch. We have added the likelihood of the map being added to the CDL map pool and will be updating the status until the first version of the CDL map set is released. Here are the terms for the likelihood:
Expected: Greater than 90% chance, the map plays well in Hardpoint
Likely: 75% chance, the map works well with minor issues
Feasible: 50% chance, the map layout works but questions around how it plays
Unlikely: 25% chance, the map layout doesn't work with major issues
Doubtful: Lower than 5% chance, the map just isn't a Hardpoint map
