Thieves Dominant Stage 2 Form
The Los Angeles Thieves have kicked off Stage II of the Call of Duty League with remarkable performances, as they lead the League in numerous statistical categories. Their electric gameplay and cohesive teamwork have led to dominant victories to start 5-0 in the Major II Qualifiers, positioning themselves as potential favorites for Major II. As the stage continues, all eyes are on the Thieves to see if they can maintain this momentum going into the next LAN tournament.
Let’s break down LA's performance in each game mode so far in Stage II.
Hardpoint
Unlike most teams, the Thieves have completely revamped their SND gameplay without losing form in the respawns. They currently hold the best Hardpoint record in the League at 8-3 while beating teams by an average of +53.4 points per map.
While Scrap (1.11 K/D) & HyDra (1.22 K/D) have power on the team with slaying, both Ghosty & Envoy have 75+ seconds of hill time per 10 minutes. That covers objective & slaying, while their teamwork has continued to put them over the top. Here are their Hardpoint Metrics this Stage:

SND
The scariest part of Thieves this Stage is their Search & Destroy gameplay. After going 8-12 in Stage I, they have rebuilt the mode from the ground up.
After four weeks of play, they are now 8-2 and on a 3-map winning streak. One of their losses was a “trolly” 1-6 loss to Vegas on Skyline, but they have since gone 7-1. HyDra again has completely transformed, going from a 0.78 K/D with 0.59 kills per round in Stage I to a 1.30 K/D with 0.86 kills per round in Stage II.
This has led to a Thieves team that now has 2 wins & a winning record on 4 different maps. Here are their SND metrics during this Stage:

Control
Same old Thieves in Control, as they have continued to absolutely DESTROY in the mode. This stage they are 9-0 and ranked 1st in the CDL in both offense and defense. Each of their four players has a 1.10 K/D in the mode or better.
There is no comparable team in the mode, it's been domination from start to finish. To top it off, the team has multiple wins on all three maps in the pool, led by a 4-0 record on Vault.
