The second match day of Week 3 is complete, with multiple tight and contested matches going down. From Vancouver taking care of business over Vegas to Miami & Carolina winning thrillers, it was an exciting day of Call of Duty.

In today’s article, we’ll spotlight the best players from today’s matches. Check out the key stats and highlights of their impact, key moments, and the plays that made them the stars of Saturday night.

Jordan “Abuzah” François - Vancouver Surge

3-1 Win vs Vegas Falcons

The Belgian finally found his form today for the Surge, ending with a 1.24 Series KD in the win over Vegas. After a successful rookie campaign, this season hasn’t been as smooth. With CDL Points in need, Abuzah finished with a 1.17 KD in Hardpoint and 1.67 in Control. The team will need to ride this form for the rest of the qualifiers.

○ Led the Surge with 94 kills, and 1.24 KD in the series
○ Finished the Control 25-15 (1.67 KD) with 2.00 Attacking KD
○ 29-22 (1.32 KD) with 3,455 damage in Map 4 to finish the series

Saud “Exnid” Alotai - Vegas Falcons

1-3 Loss vs Vancouver Surge

While the Falcons continue to skid, Exnid has proven that he has the talent to play in the CDL. The SMG player for the Saudi side finished with 11,936 damage over four maps, leading the team while just 50 damage below Abuzah. With more reps and reinforcements in the team, Exnid will look to cement his place on the team long-term.

○ Led the Falcons with 11,936 Damage, 2nd only to Abuzah
○ 12-5 (2.40 KD) in the SND, going 3-1 in Opening Duels
○ Lobby-High 38 Kills (38-33, 1.15 KD) in Map 1 with 4,548 damage

Adrian “MettalZ” Serrano - Miami Heretics

3-2 Win vs Cloud9 New York

The Spaniard had struggled badly in SND heading into the series, having the lowest KD in the League (0.65) to go with 0.51 kills per round and an ADR of 85.3. He went on to explode in the mode, ending 20-10 (2.00 KD) over the two SND maps. MettalZ had 1.05 Kills per round, more than doubling his season stat while having 108.8 ADR. Amazing performance to get the Heretics a Map 5 victory.

○ Ended 20-10 (2.00 KD) over the two SND Map Wins
○ Lobby-High 97 kills over the series
○ Was in 211 Engagements total in the match, leading the lobby

Evan "Purj" Perez - Boston Breach

3-1 Win vs Carolina Royal Ravens

Purj was a man on a mission in this series against the Royal Ravens. Carolina were getting plenty of praise for how their season had begun but the Breach did not care. They would win both Hardpoints cleanly, including a 250-109 stomping on Vault Hardpoint. The Map 4 was a takeover for Purj, ending 45-20 (2.25 KD), in a map that he surely would've set the kill record if the Royal Ravens fought back.

○ 45-20 (2.25 KD) in the Map 4 Hardpoint
○ Lobby-High 1.27 Series KD and 113 Series Kills
○ Went 9-7 (1.29 KD) with 4 Opening Duel wins in the SND

Cameron "Cammy" McKilligan - Boston Breach

3-1 Win vs Carolina Royal Ravens

While his teammate Purj had his best series of the season, Cammy also performed very well. He went 34-22 (1.55 KD) in the final map of the series, helping the Breach secure a 3-1 series victory. With more appearances of the vintage Cammy form, the Breach are becoming a scary team to face and a contender for the 4th best team in the CDL.

○ 97-81 (1.20 KD) over the Series
○ Ended 30-24 (1.25 KD) with 5 tick captures & 1.88 defending KD in the Control
○ 1.30 KD over the two Hardpoint Maps (65-50)
