After hitting a slight slump, the Toronto Ultra had a bounce-back victory over the LA Guerrillas M8. In the 3-1 victory, JoeyD led the lobby in multiple stat categories including series kills (90) and KD (1.20). His impact has been immense in Search & Destroy, but the young SMG has been steadily improving in respawns as of late. With a spot in the top 4 wide open, the Ultra have cemented themselves as the favorites for that position.

The MVP of the entire weekend, Huke had yet another standout performance for OpTic Texas. He has been unstoppable in respawns, and that didn't change against the LA Thieves. Huke finished with a 1.51 KD in Hardpoint behind 59 kills, while having a 1.59 KD in Control. With his SMG duo Shotzzy, they have been applying pressure and opening up the map for OpTic to take advantage of. In their current form, they are the best SMG duo in the League.
